The Night Before Christmas

It is the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a Corgi stirred, not even a cat, horse, bird or even a mouse. Visions of cookies, raw hides, kibbles and candy canes danced through their heads.

ALL Creatures were fast asleep in their beds. Or so I hope. Everything was so quiet it was just so peaceful. Yes, that is a picture of Hannah Banana asleep in her cuddler hoping for all good things under the tree. May you have a Very Merry Christmas!

So many months later!

Gosh, summer and Fall came and went and I totally forgot about the blog! With the construction of the barn, birth of a litter of Pems, Construction woes, work, and who knows what else...time just FLEW! With the first set of snow and ice/sleet storm that we had I had quite an adventure with the outdoor garbage bin. You see......Mike and I can access the outdoor garbage bin from the dining room window...makes it quite convenient when the weather is disagreeable! Well, here I am trying to pull the lid from the window up..instead of being able to open it I was nearly thrown out of the window by the sheer weight of the snow on the lid. If one had been walking past the dining room they would have only seen a set of dangling legs frantically trying to regain balance back into the house! Too bad Mike missed it...I was just glad that I did not end up going through the window into the cold snow. Now that would NOT have been funny! Last night I was so surprised to see my youngest puppy on the bed FAST ASLEEP with the two adults and the cat. Generally Hannah Banana and Grant would have chased her off. Now...just from looking at the picture WHERE THE HECK was I supposed to sleep??? AHHH keep dreaming Emma...you are NOT sleeping all night on the bed...into the crate you go for the night...that is what happened in the end! (Emma is top left, Hannah Banana is top right, Shady is the cat and Grant is bottom right).

WOW! Summer is FINALLY here! Construction on the property is truly coming along! The dogs are MAD AS HELL that they cannot go out and run at full speed yet. There is a HUGE hole in ground where construction is ongoing so they are restricted from many areas. But nevertheless, they love being indoors on the HOT days when the A/C is on at full blast. Here is the OLDpicture of one of my girls when she was 5 months old!
