RUB A DUB DUB DUB

Rub a dub dub dub, a puppy in the tub, rub a dub dub dub. That is EXACTLY what happened! Apparently I was showering one morning and had three Corgis plus the shelter puppy, Brazen, in the bathroom. As I was shampooing my hair I noticed a tiny nose peering between the shower curtain...I said HELLO! Before I knew it the whole head had popped into the shower! It was Brazen! Well, she needed a bath so with my hair still full of shampoo I picked up Brazen and ran her under the shower, grabbed the shampoo and proceeded to bathe her too. Then I rinsed her off and my hair too! Before long we were both out of the shower drying ourselves....Brazen smelled like strawberries! So much nicer than before! What a GOOD puppy!!! She took all this in stride!

Emma! AND COOKIE TIME!

EMMA!

I could not believe it, I could SWEAR Emma was imitating Tasha even though Tasha has now been gone 6 months. This morning at 7AM, I was awakened by Grant, who sleeps above my head...I suppose to protect me from any evils that may be lurking. Took the whole menagerie out for potty and decided to head back to bed...by then it was 7:45......and for some reason I was quite exhausted. Well...before long I felt a tiny lick on my ear which then became a whole neck on my neck while a nose was sniffing my face. When I stirred many licks started so I turned over to see who it was....at first I could have SWORN it was Tasha till I realized it was little Emma! Something I had not felt in so many months....those little licks....what a memory that flooded back to my head of days long gone. It was always Tasha giving me little licks on my neck to wake me up every morning!. I hugged Emma...it is those things that keep me going! I looked at my clock...GOOD GOLLY! It was 10AM!!! HAHAHA OKAY EMMA! Getting up now...hungry huh? I bet!

Cookie TIME!

Dogs are by all means a great inventor of time. They know when it is time for potty, breakfast and COOKIE TIME! Touch the cookie jar (no, not open the lid but TOUCH it) the dogs all start barking. GEEZ! How the heck could they hear me TOUCHING that jar??? They know! Below is a picture of Mike trying to give cookies to some of the residents while carrying Brazen in his shirt as she was so cold the first day home from the shelter.
